Aenduo awarded the Agenas national tender for remote ePRO monitoring in oncology
AdvantCare® for ePRO becomes available to oncology units across Italy - a structured reading of treatment toxicities and pain in the weeks the clinic cannot observe.

Aenduo is among the awarded suppliers of Lot 4 of the Agenas national tender (CIG BB64B2DA68), for the supply of Medical Device Software for the remote monitoring of electronic Patient-Reported Outcomes (ePRO) in oncology. The solution offered is AdvantCare® for ePRO, certified as Medical Device Software under Regulation (EU) 2017/745 — Class I.
Clinical challenges to win
Behind the award there is a clinical scenario, and it is worth stating plainly. Treatment-related toxicities and pain almost always appear at home, between one visit and the next. What arrives in clinic is a reconstruction — what the patient remembers, filtered by the weeks in between.

Toxicities are recognised late, supportive care starts later than it could, and the record of what the patient went through stays thin.
What Aenduo brings
The catalogue covers four clinical areas of the oncology pathway:

TOXICITY MONITORING
Treatment-related toxicities
Structured monitoring of patient-reported toxicities across chemo, immuno, targeted, radiotherapy, hormone, oral therapy, CAR-T, surgery and palliative care.

PATIENT WELLBEING
Quality of life
Multidimensional measurement with a core questionnaire, a neuropsychological domain and coverage of the survivorship phase.

PAIN MANAGEMENT
Pain
Structured monitoring of pain intensity with scales validated across oncology and suited also to frail populations.

DISEASE PHASES
Disease phase
Assessment of quality of life and wellbeing along the phases of disease.
Innovation that reads the trajectory
A threshold crossed once says little on its own. AdvantCare for ePRO reads the trajectory: every submission is classified automatically by priority and severity along three dimensions.

01
The value of the current reading against the scale's validated thresholds.
02
The change against the patient's own baseline and previous submission.
03
The persistence of the symptom over time.
Integrating the three surfaces what no single reading can: the toxicity worsening gradually, the symptom that has outlasted its expected duration. Thresholds are set as a centre default for each protocol - pathology, regimen and phase - then refined on the individual patient for comorbidity, frailty or an established tolerance.
The team opens a population stratified by priority, a longitudinal patient view and a pre-visit summary refreshed at every submission - three decision surfaces, not a queue of questionnaires.
The value it leaves behind
Collected systematically, with classification and data provenance recorded, these outcomes build a structured, longitudinal and comparable record of patient-reported adverse events and pain in patients on active treatment — generated in routine care rather than in a trial.
Clinical excellence, and where it travels
For an oncology unit, that record is the raw material of clinical excellence: toxicity recognised and managed earlier, supportive care started on evidence rather than on recollection, protocols measured against what patients actually report, and a governance view across the whole population - not one patient at a time.
The same architecture travels beyond the single centre.
FOR PHARMACEUTICAL PARTNERS
Real-world evidence from routine care
It turns tolerability and pain into structured real-world evidence generated in routine care: material for post-marketing safety, for registries, and for patient support programmes designed on what patients report rather than on what is assumed — always within the governance and consent frameworks each organisation defines.

FOR THE GULF COOPERATION COUNCIL (GCC)
Sovereign deployment, national-level evidence
In the Gulf, health data stays in the country — and so does AdvantCare for ePRO. The platform installs on premise, inside the health system's own infrastructure, with no patient data crossing a border.
Because every centre records adverse events and pain on the same validated instruments, with the same severity classification and data provenance, outcomes are comparable across centres by construction: a ready feed for national cancer registries, a basis for quality benchmarking, and the outcome measurement value-based care contracts require. Certified as a medical device in the EU and in clinical use across several European countries, on an ISO 13485 quality system.

In short: routine-care ePRO that turns toxicity and pain into earlier action and real-world evidence.
